Collini Milano was honored to walk the runway as special guest during Monte Carlo Fashion Week’s 2023 edition strategically scheduled between Cannes’ star studded Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix. A week that showcased a selection of international fashion brands ending with Collini Milano’s triumphant evening fashion show at the recently inaugurated Prince of Monaco Automobile Museum located at Port Hercule, adjacent to Monte Carlo’s world famous Formula 1 Circuit.

The brand chose a retrospective capsule collection inspired by Monte Carlo’s luxurious lifestyle and in particular by the city’s vibrant after-dark scene.

From a lady-like acqua brocade tailleur perfect for a Sunday drive on the Corniche to femmes fatales swathed in shimmery body hugging liquid gold maxi dresses and jumpsuits. Long legs were on display with micro mini dresses or short shorts often combined with towering boots that gave a strong sense of both sensuality and empowerment.

Collini’s iconic masterpieces including the golden crock trench and golden snake fringed jacket made their appearance as did a sparkling fluffy white maxi-cape over velvet body and thigh high boots.  Paillettes, lurex, satin and metallic leathers pervaded the capsule in keeping with Collini’s over the top attitude, never for the faint of heart.

“Ordinary” is not in the Collini Milano vocabulary.
