SS26 WOMEN'S COLLECTION
COLLINI MILANO SS 2026
Collini Milano 1937 presents its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, designed by Gianluca Capannolo. The collection draws inspiration from the unforgettable imagery of the American film “What a Way to Go!” (1964), starring Shirley MacLaine alongside an all-star cast including Paul Newman, Robert Mitchum, Gene Kelly, Dean Martin, among others.
Special focus on the exceptional work of legendary costume designer Edith Head, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on fashion history thanks to her eccentricity and bold use of color. Collini Milano 1937 celebrates this spirit, reinterpreting the film’s iconic character through a contemporary lens.
The Collini woman for Spring/Summer 2026 embodies a glamorous and ultra-feminine silhouette. Materials include gold lace, metallic jersey, silk georgette, techno georgette, gold vinyl, ostrich and Coq feathers as well as faceted mirror embroidered organza.
The color palette ranges from fuchsia to peach tones, turquoise to gold, with accents of copper, bronze, and black, with striking effect.
The collection defines an exquisitely sexy silhouette, where sheer fabrics, bias cuts and bold colors outline the image of an extraordinary woman, eccentric, and unmistakably modern.
